
India's Competitiveness vis-à-vis other Asian economies

"The World Competitiveness Yearbook" for 2003 published by International Institute for Management Development ranks the ability of a nation to provide an environment that sustains the competitiveness of enterprises. The Survey totally covers 51 economies, 27 of which have population greater than 20 million. It analyzes 321 business environment factors under four broad criteria:
I. Economic Performance
II. Government Efficiency
III. Business
Efficiency
IV. Infrastructure
